We hope you’ll find these calculators useful. They can all be used completely free of charge – and as many times as you like. If you think any of your friends and colleagues might find them useful, too, then please suggest that they can download our App free of charge from the Apple or Android stores.

Receipt Management Made Simple
Now there’s a simple way to avoid clutter in your life using the ‘Receipts Manager’ function on your App. It’s so easy.
Open the Receipt Manager function in the App, and select one of the categories (Travel expenses, advertising, office expenses, etc).
Simply use the camera function of your device to take a photo of the receipt and it’s automatically stored in your chosen category. You can enter a name for the receipt, date, amount, VAT element and any notes you wish to make about it, and then you are ready to save it.
We recommend that you export the documents from time to time, either by emailing them to yourself or your accountant, to safeguard the data.
And just in case you are wondering… HMRC have confirmed that it’s acceptable to have digital versions of receipts and invoices, but you should keep them for the same length of time as paper documents – 5 years after the filing date.
Tracking and logging your business miles
Do you claim for business mileage – and spend hours ‘Googling’ the places you’ve visited to work out the miles you’ve covered?
Well, thanks to the KAMP Accountants App, you can now get all the information you need permanently recorded on your Smartphone. Just set the Mileage Calculator ‘Start Trip’ and thanks to the wonders of GPS tracking, your precise journey and the exact mileage covered will be recorded for you. When you get to your destination, click ‘End Trip’ and all the details will be saved.
You can view a list of all the trips you have made, including dates, times and miles covered and you can even email the details to your accountant, head office, payroll section – whoever needs the information.
It’s a really useful feature of KAMP Accountants App. If you haven’t used it yet, give it a try. We think you’ll be impressed.
If you would like to arrange a meeting to discuss any specific issue related to company cars or the tax implications of reclaiming mileage
P.S. Do feel free to share the App with any of your colleagues or connections who you think might find the App useful.
